Celebright & Ottawa Senators for Mental Health | Celebright

Last month at the Canadian Tire Centre, Celebright proudly partnered with the Ottawa Senators Foundation for their Hockey Talks Night , presented by Bell Let’s Talk, to shine a spotlight on youth mental health. The initiative brought together hockey fans, local organizations, and the community for an evening of conversation, support, and action — both on and off the ice.

Beyond raising awareness, the night created a meaningful and tangible impact, with proceeds going directly toward programs and initiatives that support youth mental health services in Ottawa, including the Youth Services Bureau of Ottawa and Le CAP. At Celebright, we were honoured to contribute to such an important cause, using light — our signature way of bringing joy and connection — to help illuminate this critical conversation.

A Game with Cause

Prior to the game, 500 tickets were donated to youth from charitable organizations such as Do It For Daron (DIFD) at The Royal, ensuring that young people had the opportunity to feel seen, supported, and included — all while enjoying some good old-fashioned hockey.

At every gate, Celebright volunteers were on hand selling our “Light Up the Night” glowable bracelets to attendees. From the moment of the centre-ice puck drop to the final buzzer, hundreds of bracelets illuminated the crowd, creating a powerful display of unity and solidarity. Proceeds from every bracelet sold were donated directly to the cause, extending the impact far beyond game night.

Overall, the evening was a tremendous success. Together, we helped raise $75,000 — funds that will go directly toward vital mental health programs for youth in Ottawa. Nights like this remind us that collective action can create real, lasting change. Together, we can break stigma, spark important conversations, and support youth mental health year-round.

Why We Stand for Shining a Light: Together

At Celebright, light is more than what we create — it’s what we stand for. Our mission, “Bringing Joy Through Light,” guides us to make an impact that is not only functional, but emotional — helping make our world a brighter, more connected place for everyone. It begins within our own community, where light has the power to inspire hope, foster connection, and remind people that they are never alone — especially our youth.

Partnering with the Ottawa Senators Foundation for Hockey Talks Night allowed us to put this mission into action. It was more than an event; it was a movement. By raising awareness, supporting youth mental health programs, and standing together, we amplified the power of light and community.

If you’re struggling with your mental health, please know that you are not alone.
